Very unusual. I think it must be the cumin that's very prominent. If you want a change from what your used to - this is the one. 'Outside the box'.

My Staple Chilli recipe quite surprises some people because they believe the spice combination to be more like that of a curry. Actually it's not uncommon. In her Beef Chilli recipe Nadiya the TV cooking celebrity uses 1 tbsp Cumin and Coriander with 1 tsp of Marmite!

Quite different with the spices involved. Kept it light using turkey thigh mince and not too much chilli. Also added chorizo as a favourite of mine after someone introduced me to it a while back.
