Winter Sausage Casserole
Ingredients
1 large onion cooked to melting.1 tsp salt
2 carrots cut into shavings.
2.5 cms shredded fresh ginger
2 rasher smoked bacon
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp rosemary.
1tbsp cumin seeds
🌶🌶 2 chillies or 2 tsp chilli flakes
4 cloves garlic
175ml red wine
6 sausages
1 tin chopped tomatoes
1 tin butter beans incl water
2 chicken stock cubes in 500ml hot water.
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt (optional)
Simmer 1hr or bake in the oven until tender
Garnish ♥️ and serve 🍷
