Rodders' Perfect Curry

Chick Pea Curry

1 tbsp sunflower oil
1 large onion cooked to melting
1 tsp salt

3 cms grated fresh ginger
1 tsp chilli flakes 🌶
2 tsp cumin seeds

3 cloves garlic
2 tsp coriander
1 tsp turmeric

1 tsp garam masalla
1 tin chopped tomatoes

Simmer 1.5 hrs. Keep adding water.

1 tin Chick Peas including water.

Simmer 15 mins - more for a drier consistency.

Substitute Kidney Beans or Cannelini Beans for variety but don't use the water. Butter Beans are good with the water.

Garnish ♥️ and serve. Great served dry with bread.
