Sehej Mann Perfect Curry
Ingredients
Lamb Curry1 tbsp ghee
2 large onion cooked to melting
1 tsp salt
3 bay leaf
2 black cardamom pods
6 cloves
3cms cinnamon stick
1 star anise
7 dried red chillies 🌶 🌶
1 chopped fresh tomato
Simmer tomato to a paste - adding water to prevent burning.
8 cloves crushed garlic
Paste:
3 tsp coriander powder
2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp english mustard (this replaces mustard oil in Sehej recipe)
Simmer 20 mins adding water to avoid burning.
500g lean cubed lamb
Simmer until lamb is tender. Adding water to prevent burning and for desired consistency.
Garnish with fresh coriander. Serve with bread or rice 🙏
